Self adhesive Micro pads
We supply self adhesive conductive electrodes with every E-Stim unit we produce, as the humble conductive pad is in our opinion one of the most versatile e-stim electrodes in existence.
Small is beautiful
If you want something a little more intense that our standard pads, then you might consider the Micro pads, as they are small enough to fit virtually anywhere and are just as effective as larger pads. Micro-pads are 32mm diameter (1 1/4")
Medical Grade
Our medical grade self-adhesive conductive sticky pads are available in 2 other sizes, our standard pad, as supplied with most of our powerboxes, and a longer version. Each highly conductive pad can be reused (with care), cut to size, used on both him and her, and used in most external places, subject to the normal safety considerations (i.e. below the waist).
Cables
Each micropad is fitted with a 2mm/TENS type connection, and suitable cables are supplied with all of our control units.
Monopole
Conductive pads are classed as mono polar electrodes in other words you will need to use two pads, or one pad and another electrode contact point at the same time to form a circuit. It's one of the reasons they are supplied in a pack of four.
We do not recommend the use of conductive gel with our range of electrodes, however if the pad adhesive becomes less effective it can be reinvigorated with a couple of drops of water.

Connections
Choose wisely!!
A self adhesive pad electrode has a single 2mm/TENS socket, and is a monopole electrode so acts as a single point of contact. For E-Stim to work you need two points of contact - so you need to use more than one pad, or use a single pad in conjunction with another contact point.
Cable wise consider a 2mm Cable, We do supply these with all of our E-Stim Power boxes so you should have one, or even a BiCable if your second point of contact is a electrode with 4mm sockets or even a 4mm loop.
Safety
Always play below the waist unless you know what you're doing and accept any risks.
Never use E-Stim around the neck or head.
Do Not use E-Stim if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, a heart condition, or any kind of electronic implant (e.g. pacemaker or insulin pump).
If you're unsure, consult your medical practitioner before using E-Stim.
Always start with the lowest setting and increase slowly.
Keep the electrodes away from broken or irritated skin.
Please Note
It is not possible to clean self adhesive pads, however it is possible to reuse them. To reuse a pad and increase its longevity we suggest you carefully remove it from the skin after play and then immediately return it to the plastic carrier sheet before placing back into its protective bag.
