Choose wisely!!
A self adhesive pad electrode has a single 2mm/TENS socket, and is a monopole electrode so acts as a single point of contact. For E-Stim to work you need two points of contact - so you need to use more than one pad, or use a single pad in conjunction with another contact point.
Cable wise consider a 2mm Cable, We do supply these with all of our E-Stim Power boxes so you should have one, or even a BiCable if your second point of contact is a electrode with 4mm sockets or even a 4mm loop.
